Stuffed Burgers with Cheese
Ingredients
For 8 burgers:
300g beef mince
300g pork mince
1 medium onion, coarsely grated
1 green zucchini, coarsely grated
½ cup breadcrumbs
½ cup parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
1 egg
200g Valio Quattro Formaggi cheese
For the potatoes:
4 large potatoes, cut into cubes
2 tomatoes, sliced
60ml olive oil
Salt and pepper
Guide
1 Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan).
2 In a large baking tray, add half of the olive oil. Add the potatoes and tomatoes. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer the tray to the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
3 In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the burgers. Divide the mixture into 8 portions.
4 Take each burger in your hand and use your fingers to create a hollow in the center, which you will fill with 1 tablespoon of Valio Quattro Formaggi cheese. Press the edges of the burger well so the cheese is completely sealed inside. Repeat the process with the remaining burgers.
5 Remove the tray from the oven and place the burgers among the potatoes. Bake for another 30-35 minutes. Serve hot.
