Iakovos Photiades Group of Companies, a leader in the import and distribution of FMCG, exclusive supplier and distributor of McDonald’s restaurants and owner of retail chain foodhaus, is looking to recruit a Business Data Analyst based at the Company’s Head offices Latsia, Nicosia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will collect, analyse, and interpret high volume data to identify trends, generate insights, and provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Collect and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Set up dashboards and establish KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Assume responsibility over the Company’s data and customer analysis function by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Liaise between the Company’s outsourced IT consultants and its various vendors.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, operations, and other departments to improve data quality and access.
• Supports onboarding by providing introductory training to new users on data systems and tools.
• Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Support project implementation, including testing, training, and change management.
• Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Work Experience / Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered as an advantage.
• 2-5 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities, ideally in the FMCG, wholesale and/or retail industry will be considered as an advantage.
• We also welcome applications from junior-level candidates.
• Very good knowledge of BI Tools such as Tableau and Oracle.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python.
• Tech savvy, with advanced competency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Very good communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Solid understanding of business operations and financial principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects.
