Cheese & Peanut Butter Toast

Ingredients

2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)

2–3 tbsp peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

2–3 tbsp Valio grated cheese (Quattro Formaggi)

½ tbsp butter (optional, for toasting)

Honey or hot sauce (optional, for topping)

Guide

1 Toast the bread lightly first (this helps keep it from getting soggy).

2 Spread peanut butter on one slice while it’s still warm so it melts slightly.

3 Sprinkle cheese evenly over the peanut butter.

4 Melt the cheese:

  • Option A: Put the slice under a broiler or in an oven for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Option B: Place the slice in a skillet, cover with a lid, and heat on low until the cheese melts.

5 Add a drizzle of honey for sweet, or a dash of hot sauce/chili flakes for savory.

6 Close with the second slice (for a sandwich) or enjoy open-faced.
