Summary
Kids' Halloween parties are all about simple yet spooky food. Here are some ideas for how to adapt your kids' favorite treats to fit the theme of this spooky late-autumn celebration.Ingredients
Witch's Finger
10 sausages
10 hot dog buns
250 g quattro formaggi
10 peeled almonds
100 ml ketchup
½ plate boiled noodles
Skull pizzas
250 ml water
¼ pack (50 g each) yeast
½ tsp salt
300 g wheat flour
200 g tomato sauce
150 g quattro formaggi
5 black olives
Pumpkin dip bowl
1 small pumpkin
1 small cauliflower
1 cucumber
4 carrot
300g guacamole
180 g quattro formaggi
Guide
Witch's Finger
1 Heat the sausages, rolls and the quattro formaggi. Cut a flat spot on the end of the sausages with a knife, squeeze tomato puree into it and press the almonds into the nails.
2 Fill the rolls with witch's finger and ketchup blood
Pizzas
1 Dissolve the yeast and salt in lukewarm water. Add the wheat flour slowly while kneading the dough well. The finished dough will be elastic and will come away from the sides of the bowl. Let the dough rise at room temperature in a draft-free place for approx. 30 min
2 Knead the dough to remove air. Divide into 10 pieces. Roll out the pieces into a skull shape (an oval with the top wider than the bottom). Spread a layer of tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Press in the olive halves for eyes.
3 Bake in the lower/middle part of the oven at 250 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes. Use scissors to cut the opening in the cheese surface immediately after removing from the oven.
Pumpkin dip bowl
1 Use a knife to hollow out the pumpkin's face and scoop out the insides.
2 Cut the vegetables into sticks.
3 Spoon the guacamole partially into the mouth and in front of the pumpkin. Place the quattro formaggi in a separate bowl and arrange the vegetables on a board.
