Sunshine Salad

Summary

A delicious side salad made from fresh ingredients. This salad can even serve as a main course if you add, for example, chicken or salmon. Definitely worth a try!

Ingredients

250 g carrots

2 tart domestic apples

Leek (to taste)

100 gr Valio Edam 24% Sliced

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

200 g  sour cream

For topping:

2 tsp sesame seeds

Guide

1 Peel the carrots and wash the apples.

2 Cut the carrots and apples into thin, stick-shaped pieces. If you prefer, you can coarsely grate the carrots instead.

3 Halve and wash the leek, then slice it thinly.

4 Cut the cheese slices in half and then into thin strips.

5 Combine all the salad ingredients in a bowl. Finish by sprinkling sesame or pumpkin seeds on top.

6 Serve as a side salad or with bread for an evening snack or light meal.

Tip:
To turn the salad into a main dish, add fried chicken strips or hot-smoked salmon.
