Chicken Gyros

Summary

Wrap spices, roasted chicken, fresh vegetables, cheese and tzatziki in the pitta and take a small taste trip to Greece in your own backyard!

Ingredients

600g chicken cutlets (thigh or fillet)

1 tsp salt

ground black pepper

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp paprika powder

TZATZIKI

200g yogurt

100g cucumber

2 clove of garlic

100g chopped fresh mint

IN ADDITION

6 pitta bread

200g Valio Edam cheese

2 tomato

1 Red onion

leaf parsley

Guide

1 Season the chicken cutlets. Leave to season for half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki.

2 Cut the chicken into pieces. Grill or roast in the oven at 225 degrees for 15 minutes until cooked.

3 Slice the tomatoes and onion.

4 Fill the pitta bread by layering the ingredients between the pitta. Finish with fresh parsley.

5 Peel and grate the cucumber. Drain all the liquid in a colander.

6 Mix yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped garlic and mint. Check the salt.
