Why are cookies used?

Cookies can be used for various purposes. Cookies may be required to improve site functionality. For example, without cookies it would be hard to remember if you signed up for a site or what products you added to your shopping cart. These cookies are called functional cookies.

In addition, cookies are used for social media so they can be integrated into the site. This allows you to like or immediately share a page or product on your favorite social media platform.

A fourth major application of cookies is the online advertising. This allows personalized ads that interest you or concern you directly, both inside and outside of our site. This is achieved with cookies for (targeted) advertising.
