Iakovos Photiades Group of Companies, a leader in the import and distribution of FMCG, exclusive supplier and distributor of McDonald’s restaurants and owner of retail chain Foodhaus, is looking to recruit a Data Analyst based at the Company’s Head offices Latsia, Nicosia.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Interpret and analyse data to provide reports.
• Identify and interpret trends or patterns from complex data sets.
• Apply analytical and modelling techniques to provide insight into the Company’s business in an effort to respond to needs and drive change.
• Set up dashboards and establish KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Utilize Business intelligence tools for reporting and visualization purposes.
• Work closely with the Management to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize business needs.
• Assume responsibility over the Company’s data and customer analysis function.
• Liaise between the Company’s outsourced IT consultants and its various vendors.

Work Experience / Knowledge

• University degree preferably in Computer science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities, ideally in the Retail industry.
• Very good working knowledge of BI Tools (Tableau and Oracle).
• A programming and coding mindset with working knowledge of Python, Matlab, R, and/or SQL.
• Tech savvy, with advanced competency in Microsoft Office tools.

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Very good communication, reporting, and presentation skills
• Hands on with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong numerical and organisational skills
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
